Welcome to my journal!

Hi, I'm Jennie or Jen, whichever you prefer. A little about me: I'm currently based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I’m originally from Miami, Florida, but I’ve been living in Colorado since the summer of 2018. Before Florida, I grew up on Long Island, New York. My favorite state to visit is Utah. I love canyoneering, which might explain my deep appreciation for the desert. Perhaps I’m drawn to Utah because of its otherworldly landscapes, so vastly different from what I’m used to or even what I have in my own backyard here in Colorado. Anyway, the Southwest is a photographer and drone pilot's dream.

I’ve been fortunate enough to travel, and when I do, I often take a slower approach. For instance, this past summer (2024), I traveled for three months but only visited three countries. Most of my time was spent in Vietnam, it was my first time visiting, and I have so much to share with you.
